5 Ways to use LED Strips you might not have seen before!

18 July 2022

We’ve already written about LED Strip Lighting here, but we’ve done a heap of work since then. Here’s a few job recaps, and some different functions you might not have thought of:

1. Elevate the Character of the Space:

This is a fit out we did for a tech company for both their retail and office spaces. The client wanted some funky RBG lights to add interest to the space. They are also controlled by wifi! So the client can control the lights remotely.

Not only do these touches set the vibe, but the design kept product lighting in mind, highlighting important spaces where they’ll need it the most.

2. A Solid Pendant Alternative:

This job had almost 200m of LED Strips! As a huge cosmedical center, the interior had to be clean and slick. The use of LED strip lighting was used instead of pendants to keep the open areas as minimalistic as possible. Their cool colour temperature also kept the area looking fresh, adding to the sanitary feel of the space.

The nature of the strips being flexible, you can tailor whatever shape you want to add interest to any space.

3. Showcase Important Product:

Subtle strips were installed in these retail and office spaces to elevate the warmth of the space, but they’re useful too, highlighting important products where needed.

4. Add a pop of subtle colour:

This gorgeous office space had tonnes of beautiful natural light, so it only needed some little highlights here and there. The use of strips under the seating area and in the kitchen adds little pops of colour into an otherwise monochromatic palette.

5. Add functionality to dark areas:

Where you don’t have the luxury of much natural light, strips can be added as an alternative to overhead lighting. It creates a great mood, and also puts out a nice and even light across the required area. While this is a retail space the same can be applied to shelving, desks, and other kitchen areas.

We’ve installed LED Strip lighting in a bunch of different places for a bunch of different functions. From RGB, wifi, and just your plain old warm white strip, the uses are endless. Let us know if we can help you deciding on what option will work best for you!
